Describe your work philosophy in one sentence.

I am a restaurant technology disruptor and visionary.

What's the most recent tech you've deployed at your restaurants?

Contactless payment device for curbside and pop-up drive through using a SIM card and POS integration.

Why did your company join RTN? 

To be alongside industry leaders not only from the vendor side but also from an operator perspective. It is rare to see this caliber of people come together to join forces to make our industry better.

What's your favorite personal past-time?

I enjoy being a drone pilot and exploring solutions in that industry as well as podcasting about restaurant technology. Make sure you check out The Tech Chef!

What three words would you use to describe what's happening in the restaurant industry right now?

Disruptive, touchless, survival.

Restaurateur you most admire & why.

Chef Robert Irvine. Not only is his food superb, his commitment to our industry and helping others to succeed is second to none. In addition, he has a deep-rooted sense of patriotism and a sincere aspiration to help our military personnel and first responders.

What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants?

I am excited to see where AI, smart kitchen technology and robotics are headed. There has been great advancement over the past few years in these areas and I think we are starting to see an accelerated path to making these technologies mainstream and a reality for operators.
