GetSwift enables in-house (1st party) delivery for restaurants. Our suite of products has tools for delivery management and routing, allowing restaurants to recapture their margins.

Why did your company join RTN?

RTN is an outstanding voice in the community. I joined the industry about six months ago when I started working at GetSwift. As I researched to learn more about the industry, RTN came up frequently. The expertise they had and were willing to share was invaluable. It was something I knew I had to be a part of. I am thankful that I now have an opportunity to participate directly and contribute.

What's your favorite personal past-time?

Basketball. I am obsessed with the sport. If I am not playing it, I am watching it. If I am not watching it, I am playing it.

What three words would you use to describe what's happening in the restaurant industry right now?

Digital Transformation Era. We thought it was only for the big corporations but the tools are there for restaurants to become "high-tech" as well.

What's your favorite restaurant?

Tacoria. It is a Local Restaurant Chain with a location in my hometown. Mexican influenced. Loaded Nachos are to die for.

What's your most-used restaurant app?

Google Search - allows me to search after I have narrowed what cuisine I want and order directly from the restaurant.

Restaurateur you most admire & why.

Wolfgang Puck - I don't know him personally. But by everything I've seen, he seems to be a funny and genuine person. He is also one of those people that has achieved success by sheer insane mastery of his craft.

What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants?

I am in the logistics space, we are super-focused on delivery management. But I am really excited to see how robotics will come into play and how it can be leveraged for food delivery.
