What unique problem does your company solve for restaurants?

X.i provides Restaurant Brands to FIND their existing customers and new customers. UNDERSTAND these customers at the deepest level from transactions, tender type, order channel, daypart, geographic, demographic, and psycographic data. We then ENGAGE with specific Audiences that allow a personalized marketing experience through the necessary communication channel for those audiences.

Why did your company join RTN?

RTN has always provided a means of innovative minds to collaborate with each other and drive technology to enhance operations, brand awareness, and the customer experience. We want to be apart of this thought leadership.

What’s your favorite personal pastime?

Tennis has been part of my life for many years. It allows the freedom to take your mind for a short period of time from the business world while feeding my competitive spirit. I frequent the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells as it delivers an amazing spectating experience. This event is arguably the 5th Grand Slam.

What three words would you use to describe what’s happening in the restaurant industry right now?

Operational... Customer...Transformation

What’s your most-used restaurant app?

Starbucks for the convenience of traveling and having it available every where.

Restauranteur you most admire and why?

Jason Quinn - I liked the fact that he was one of the pioneers in the food truck world and took his ideas to brick and mortar. He changed the menu constantly and challenged all his chefs to be better. He provided a breeding ground for his chefs to go out on their own as well. He is very meticulous and strives for perfection in a very unique way. He believes in his food and at times avoids what some of the public thinks as his food is crafted to be eaten in a certain way.

What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants?

That is a very difficult question to answer as their are so many new technologies and the restaurant industry is transforming in operational, brand awareness, and customer experience areas. My primary focus in todays world is driving the personalized customer experience so I am most interested in technologies that enhance this experience.
