Cristal joined SynergySuite in 2022, bringing more than 28 years of experience in hospitality at the operator and vendor levels. As Global Director of Strategic Partnerships, she uses her expertise in restaurant technology to build alliances across partners in ways that benefit and enhance SynergySuite’s clients. Her focus is on providing solutions and strategies that drive profit to the bottom line, enhance guest experience, and give value to the vendor/client relationship. She is also a co-founder of WORTH (Women Of Restaurants, Technology, and Hospitality)
- What unique problem does your company solve for restaurants?
Our company helps restaurants streamline their operations by consolidating multiple tasks into a single, efficient solution. By automating and simplifying key processes, we save valuable time for restaurant owners and staff, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—delivering an exceptional customer experience.
In addition to saving time, we help restaurants gain better control over their CCOGS and labor expenses. Through smarter inventory management, real-time tracking, and data-driven insights, we empower restaurants to optimize their spending and improve profitability without compromising quality or service. - Why did your company join RTN?

- What’s your favorite personal pastime?
Hiking! Whether it's traversing our National Park system (24 and counting) or in my local mountains and deserts here in San Diego County, there is nowhere else I'd rather be than outdoors hitting the trails.

- What restaurateur do you most admire and why?
Jose Andres is doing amazing things to help support those displaced by the fires here in Southern California, and just in general through World Central Kitchen. His mantra of “Wherever there’s a fight so that hungry people may eat … we’ll be there" resonates so deeply with me on many levels.
- What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants and why?
AI! Bring it on, and let's use it to make people's lives easier. Restaurant staff are some of the hardest working people on earth, and they deserve to have the tools that allow them to take care of themselves as much as they take care of others.
