    Kevin Clements, a proud native of Louisville, Kentucky, has built his career on improving the restaurant industry through practical technology solutions. With a straightforward approach, Kevin is the Senior Director of Sales for HonorBuilt, where he ensures IT installations and support for restaurants are carried out efficiently and effectively.

    At the end of 2022, Kevin joined HonorBuilt, drawn by their track record of reliability and positive feedback from mutual partners. One of his reasons for joining the HonorBuilt team was seeing the tangible benefits of their work as a client on the solution sales side. He still uses a quote from a leading quick service chain which HonorBuilt had deployed post a 900+ KDS / multi-technology install. The client shared there was no “reverb” from the deployment, meaning their helpdesk did not have numerous tickets or issues post-installation to address. That’s what HonorBuilt offers.

    Kevin’s role involves supporting nationwide brands with new store openings and coordinating technology deployments. He works closely with clients to ensure that every project is executed precisely, from planning to installation and beyond.

  • Why did your company join RTN?

    HonorBuilt has been serving restaurants for 20+ years and is, in my humble opinion, the best-kept secret in IT services. We partner with several brands and solution providers who are also participants in the RTN community and want to contribute to the group.

  • What’s your favorite personal pastime?

    Running (jogging) is my current hobby and favorite way to explore new places. I’m a fan of the Strava app. If you’re on there, let’s connect. I’m slower than you, I’m sure.

  • What three words would you use to describe what’s happening in the restaurant industry right now?

    Expand, Perform, Connect.

  • What’s your most-used restaurant app and why?

    I may be biased, but it’s Chick-fil-A. It’s easy to use, and it’s always great. My 7-year-old daughter is obsessed! And we love supporting our clients.

  • What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants and why?

    Automation. I was recently inspired by a conversation at an RTN workgroup kickoff. The impact of data, AI, and automation will transform how we serve our customers. Speed, efficiency, and high performance are core differentiators, and automation will only help keep us leaders in the industry.
