What unique problem does your company solve for restaurants?

Today’s restaurant must deliver a personalized and seamlessly connected guest experience while being operationally efficient with optimized assets, high utilization, predictive analytics and quality, health and safety standard compliance. Industry customers, partners, and vendors build on AWS for agility, cost savings, elasticity, innovation at speed, and for global reach.

Why did your company join RTN?

Personally, I was an initial participant during the launch of RTN and I am excited to now join in a professional capacity.

What's your favorite personal past-time?

Cooking and eating of course.

What three words would you use to describe what's happening in the restaurant industry right now?

Dynamic, Innovation, Reinvention

What's your most-used restaurant app?

The delivery marketplaces.

Restaurateur you most admire & why.

I am fortunate to count Dave Thomas, Fred DeLuca, and George Biel as mentors on my restaurant journey. I admire them for what they built using quality and consistency as their guides for customer service.

What technology are you most excited about for the future of restaurants?

While I can’t predict the future, I do know AWS, along with our partners, will be there to help customers build for what’s next. Innovations, born out of disruption, will impact and improve the way we eat and experience the world in the years ahead.
