RTN’s Start-Up Alley: All 17 Big Winners at MURTEC 2022
RTN hosted its second Start-Up Alley at MURTEC 2022 where the buzz was contagious, with many citing the Alley as a highlight of their overall MURTEC experience.
On a mission to nurture new, innovative entrepreneurs in the restaurant industry, RTN hosts Start-Up Alley at MURTEC as a way to place a massive spotlight on fresh ideas and draw attention to complementary and disruptive solutions.
With support from its sponsors, Comcast Business and Intel, RTN showcased the Top 17 brands, following a fierce competition of nearly 40 applicants. Judges Phil Crawford, CTO, CKE; Astrid Isaacs, CTO, Bloomin’ Brands; and Tom Seeker, CIO, Earl Enterprises helped narrow the field to the Top 5 contestants. Those five then took the stage, in a highly-anticipated live Shark Tank session where the judges or “sharks” circled the waters, peppering them each with questions to help the audience determine who would come out on top.
Top 5: CRM and customer engagement platform Bikky; COGS-Well's restaurant inventory control and recipe management; Curbit, the central nervous system of a modern digital restaurant; Hellometer, a computer vision solution for drive-thru and dining rooms, and digital marketing platform Targetable.
Huge congratulations to Hellometer for the BIG WIN! All of the Top 17 were winners for making it to MURTEC, a coveted opportunity to shine at the restaurant technology industry’s gold-star event. See the full Shark Tank session below:
