6. Amazon to Close Restaurant Delivery Service
Amazon is getting out of the crowded U.S. restaurant food delivery business. At least for now.  This closure of Amazon Restaurants coincides with the online behemoth’s investment in Deliveroo, a London-based delivery service that operates in 14 countries.

5. Taco Bell Kiosks Named Best Restaurant ICX 
Kudos to Taco Bell which won the Interactive Customer Experience (ICX) Association’s Elevate Award for Best Restaurant ICX for its self-ordering kiosks, created in partnership with Elo. The QSR built a custom application to showcase its menu through an in-restaurant digital experience.
